Over the weekend of 18 - 21 October, 2019, seven adventurous senior students completed their Qualifying Silver or Gold Expedition for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Accompanied by Hillcrest supervisors, students Cassie Prior (Year 11), Alice Kerr (Year 12), Abbey Gibbs (Year 10), Jack Johnson (Year 10), Zac Gibbs (Year 10), Sam Schooley (Year 10) and Logan Chapman (Year 10), all set off on a Kayak Expedition to Moreton Island. They had a lot of fun as a group, and showed grit and determination to overcome any obstacles along the way, to ensure they were able to tick off the Adventurous Journey section of their Duke of Edinburgh Award.
