Things turned a little wacky at Hillcrest in Prep on Friday, 22 March, when we celebrated our Dr Seussy theme with our favourite annual Fox in Socks Day. Our teachers were dressed as students, a student became a teacher and marked the roll, there were footprints on our roof, umbrellas were hanging from the ceiling and our colouring-in sheets where stuck underneath tables. IT WAS WACKY!
We loved reading ‘Fox in socks’ by Dr Seuss, and enjoyed seeing our friends come to school in their crazy socks. The group rotations were so much fun, and our Head of the Junior Learning Community, Mrs Hodgson, even came and visited us for her birthday and we all dressed her up. We thought THAT was wacky! We watched a Dr Seuss movie together to unwind after our action-packed day!
