Recently Ava Usher and Jaxson Brimble attended the National Schools Swimming Championships held in Melbourne. Both Ava and Jaxson have worked hard throughout the year training in the mornings and afternoons to reach this level of competition. They both made the finals in their respective age groups but due to two separate mishaps did not figure in the medals. Both showed great resilience and backed up for their State in the relay events with Ava winning Gold, and Jaxson winning Bronze. This is a tremendous achievement for Ava who has had a busy year of sport and Jaxson who has just recently joined us at Hillcrest. Congratulations to you both on what has been a long year in the pool!
