How to Enrol

You may apply for enrolment directly to Hillcrest Christian College or through one of our registered Agents listed on this website. The process for enrolling a Full Fee Paying Overseas Student is outlined below. If an Education Agent is acting on your behalf, all correspondence will be directed to the agent. If you have any questions about the enrolment process or procedures please contact the Head of Teaching and Learning, Mr Vince Wakefield:

STEP 1 – Complete the Overseas Student Application of Enrolment Form


STEP 2 – Send Application Form and Supporting Documents

STEP 3 – Letter of Offer issued

Once the Enrolment Application is received the application will be processed. If a position is available and the application is successful we will issue a Letter of Offer. If the student is in Australia an interview time will be arranged.

STEP 4 – Payment of Fees

To confirm your acceptance of the position offered, the full amount stated on the Letter of Offer needs to have been received into the College bank account (see details below) within four weeks of the date of issue. Please ensure all payments clearly indicate the student’s family name and date of birth. Payment methods are stated below. Tuition Fees must always be paid six months in advance.

STEP 5 – Confirmation of Enrolment issued

Once the full amount requested on the Letter of Offer has been received into the College bank account, and the signed Written Agreement has been returned, a Confirmation of Enrolment (e-CoE) and Welfare Letter (if applicable) will be issued. These documents will need to be lodged at the Department of Immigration and Border Protection stated on the CoE, along with all necessary visa application documents to secure the Student Visa.

STEP 6 – Homestay Application

A Homestay Application Form will be forwarded. Please return completed form to the International Department via email: A suitable English speaking Homestay family will be chosen to suit the needs of the student. The Homestay provider will contact you/agent directly. Homestay payments are made directly to the Homestay provider and must be paid six months in advance.

STEP 7 – Student's First Day

On the student's first day they will participate in the Orientation Process which will include an interview with the Executive Head of College, sitting a School English Placement Test to determine the appropriate ESL class, purchase uniforms, select subjects, receive their timetable and collect textbooks from the library. This Orientation Process will continue over the next couple of weeks and throughout the term as required.

Enrolment Application Checklist

  • Please ensure all necessary documents are attached to the Enrolment Application as incomplete forms will not be processed.
  • Copy of student’s passport
  • Copy of student’s visa documents (if available)
  • Copies of recent school reports spanning the last 2 years (in English transcript)
  • Copies of English test results/IELTS test results or Reports from Language/ELICOS schools that indicate the student’s English language proficiency
  • Character Reference from School Principal
  • Medical Certificates/Doctor’s Reports (if applicable)
  • Letter of Release (if applicable)
  • All sections of the Enrolment Application Form have been signed by both parents
