O-Day 2020 (Years 1-12)

1.30-6.30pm, Thursday, 23 January 2020

FREE BBQ from 4-6pm

Our annual Orientation Day (O-Day) is held for ALL new and existing students in Years 1-12 in order to be fully prepared for classes from Day One. All students from Years 1-12 will have opportunity to:

  • Meet your teachers
  • Purchase uniforms (including a second-hand uniform stall)
  • Purchase bus passes
  • Parent Lounge Sessions (including how to set up Payment Schedules)
  • Cocurricular sign-up

Junior Learning Community (JLC)

(JLC families will need to register for sessions with your teachers via the button above.)

Students in the JLC will have opportunity to meet their teachers and collect book packs. These book packs contain all the stationery and books that the students will need for the year. 

All stationery and books required in the Junior Learning Community are supplied to families in Years 1-6 when they meet their teachers on O-Day. If applicable, instructions on how books are to be labelled and covered will also be supplied, and students are to bring their covered books with them to class in the first week of school. Unless requested on O-Day, nothing further is required to be purchased before the commencement of school.

Stationery for Prep students is provided in class and nothing further needs to be purchased before the commencement of school.

Textbook Collection

  • Year 7: Collect on first day of School
  • Years 8-10: 1:30-6:30pm
  • Years 11 & 12: Day one for new students

Second-Hand Uniform Stall (Pre Kindy - Year 12 Uniforms)


Outside The Hub

The P&F Association will be providing an allocated area on O Day, Thursday 23 January 2020, for families to sell their second-hand uniforms that are no longer required.Trestle tables will be set up on the Hub Deck from 1pm - 5pm. Families are to bring the uniforms they wish to sell as well as any float they will require. Uniforms are to be washed and clean, and only items that are current styles according to the College Uniform Policy are to be sold. Hillcrest Christian College and the P&F Association take no responsibility for any transactions made between buyers and sellers. No need to reserve a table - please just turn up if you wish to participate.
