Our largest-ever group of senior students and staff spent the September school holidays in Thailand and Myanmar for the annual Mission Trip, where they enjoyed one of the greatest serving adventures of their lifetime. ‘Growth’ was the theme for this year's expedition, and it certainly summed up the experience of our students, who were often pushed to their physical limits, but grew spiritually and emotionally throughout the life-changing two weeks.
Students ran English lessons, activity camps and chapel services; they worked on practical building projects, and helped in refugee villages. The team saw the overwhelming favour of God in all situations, as they travelled and served in many impoverished communities. Every volunteer stepped up and into every opportunity they faced, and saw God moving in peoples' hearts to impact lives for eternity. Something amazing happens when a dedicated group of people devote time to God, by making themselves available to serve and love those around them.
