A Fun First Excursion for our Preppies

The Preppies finished Term 2 with an absolute highlight! They went on their VERY first excursion and had a blast. On Wednesday, 12 June, the excited students (and teachers) all headed off to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, where they got to watch a sheep shearing show and see the brilliant bird show. They fed kangaroos and saw koalas, wombats, crocodiles and emus, just to name a few. To finish the day, the Preppies even got to meet the Gruffalo and had a ride on the train. The children especially loved going to and from the venue on the school bus. The journey home was very quiet with many falling asleep after their big day.

A big thank you to the amazing parent helpers who joined us on the day!
