As part of various fundraising projects by our Student Leaders, a Beach-to-Beach Walk is scheduled for Saturday 21 March 2020. The purpose of this activity is to support the Leukaemia Foundation, World’s Greatest Shave Week. All funds generated from this event will go directly to this foundation.
All students in Year 7– 12 and their families are invited to be part of the walk.
Details:
Start: Burleigh Beach Surf Life Saving Club at 6:15am (free breakfast served at 6:30am)
Finish: Southport Life Saving Club at 11:30am
What to wear: Bright hat, or coloured hair (non-permanent product) to support this cause. Some
students will have their head shaved at the conclusion of the walk.
Payment: Registration/payment of $20 on the day. This money will go towards the Leukaemia Foundation.
In addition to the breakfast, light snacks and bottled water will be available during the walk. Sunscreen will also be provided.
As a number of our students will be driving to this event, a bus will be returning to Burleigh Surf Life Saving Club at the completion of the walk. Parents and friends are most welcome to attend.
