Dear Parents and Carers
Earlier this morning the government made a decision to close all schools from south of Agnes Waters due to the extreme weather events that are being experienced in this region.
It has become clear that the extent of this weather event is very significant and based on the current information we are receiving from authorities we cannot guarantee the safety of all staff and students and therefore we have made a decision to cancel school tomorrow (Friday 31 March).
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause families however it is impossible for us to guarantee the safety of students travelling to and from school. Also the school environment where significant flood damage has already occurred has rendered some areas of the school unusable.
On behalf of the College Board and staff I wish everybody a wonderful Easter break and look forward to seeing you all again on Tuesday 18 Aprilfor the beginning of Term 2.
