ESL lessons help those who come from backgrounds where English is not their first language. ESL classes for JLC students are always an energetic and fun time for learning English.
In ESL classes we have been learning about nouns and verbs. We have also been learning to classify animals and looked at native Australian animals which live around Hillcrest Christian College and our local bushland.
ESL students have really enjoyed their reading time, games time and make-and-take mini projects for our topic learning. They are building their English language vocabulary every day and it is so wonderful to watch them develop their English language skills so quickly.
We thank God for this precious learning time together and for giving our ESL students these incredible opportunities to learn a second language in Australia at Hillcrest Christian College.
