Hillcrest Host Korean Teachers

At the start of February, Hillcrest Christian College partnered with Bond University to host 6 teachers from the Republic of Korea as part of a cross-cultural professional development initiative. The guest teachers joined with classes in the Junior Learning Community for a week to observe how our students learn and teaching strategies are used. They also presented cultural lessons to help our students learn more about their homeland and participated in ESL teacher training.

As part of the initiative, our Principal Jeff Davis, welcomed dignitaries from Korea’s Department of Education who came to tour the College and observe their teachers in action. It’s exciting that Hillcrest's reputation as a quality educational institution is now reaching other countries.
