Hillcrest Hosts Inaugural Pathways Expo for International Students

Hillcrest Careers Pathway Officer, Lorna Henderson organised the inaugural International Students University Pathways Expo which was held at Hillcrest on Thursday, 27 July. International Year 11 and 12 students from Hillcrest Christian College, and Kings Christian College, gathered at the Expo to learn about potential tertiary and career options. Students on Study Visas have different university entry requirements and so the purpose of this expo was to give students a better understanding of the Australian tertiary system, and what it has to offer.

Representatives from QUT, UQ, Griffith University and Bond University attended the expo to offer valuable information and advice, and guide our International Students on their tertiary options beyond High School. This expo was a great success and will be added to the calendar as an annual event.
