Hillcrest Innovation Excellence Award

The Middle Learning Community (MLC) Year 7-8 learning spaces have been chosen as an Excellence Awardee in the

Australian Educator Awards for 2021. The College is now in the running to be named the best "innovation in learning environment design" across Australia. These annual awards are recognised as the leading independent awards event in the K-12 education sector, showcasing top-performing schools for their outstanding achievements and transformative work.

The Australian Education Awards, now in their fourth year, recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the country’s top-performing schools, principals, department heads and teachers.

The MLC was once a multistory car park which has been transformed into an innovative and collaborative workspace for our Middle Learning Community comprising of Years 5-8. We wish to thank everyone that has given input, large or small, to the design and organisation of the new space. This is fantastic recognition for our College and the hard work of all involved.

The Australian Education Awards 2021 will be held 27 August at Doltone House in Darling Island, Sydney.
