Hillcrest Staff United by Mud

Very early on Saturday, 26 October, a group of enthusiastic Hillcrest staff, and a few friends and partners, ventured into Numinbah Valley to participate in the RAW Challenge. Being first-time participants, we didn't know what to expect but we did know that there would be mud and obstacles. Spirits were high as we danced our way to each obstacle, and at obstacle 23 when we overheard that there were actually 61 of these to complete!

The team were determined to finish together and show off a united front at the finish line. Fears were conquered on the high ropes challenge, shoes and bandannas were lost in the murky swamp waters, team members were pushed into mud pits (and then helped up), friendships merged during the dance party station, and celebrations were loud, as we smashed through the last Ninja Warrior looking wall, and raced towards the finish. We successfully completed the off-site adventure in one piece, and as one unified group.

Despite all the pain we experienced the next day, we look forward to our next team-building adventure challenge!
