Staff at Hillcrest Christian College have been working together for the past two years to prepare our students for the new QCE syllabus. Mr Sam Fesuk, Head of Faculty for Health and Natural Sciences, has been privileged to also work with Pearson Publishing over that time to help develop the new Pearson Biology 11 Units 1 & 2 Queensland textbooks that our students will be using.
This new series from Pearson effectively addresses all the requirements from the new syllabus and features the very latest developments and applications of biology.
Both the language and the instructional design of the book (which will be used in both hard copy and as an e-book) are styled to ensure that the new system of cognitive verbs, content and concepts are able to be clearly understood and appreciated by our students.
