Yo ho ho! Our Year 1 pirates had a rollicking adventure on Friday, 23 August, for Pirate Day. We trekked around the College grounds looking for clues to our treasure hunt. We collected clues from many different ports around our school campus, including the office, the chicken coup, the Hub and Mrs Archer at the library. And we found the loot - Golden doubloons (aka chocolate coins)! The fun didn’t finish there... We also were part of a fantastic Pirate Show presented by Timbarra Productions. We sailed a pirate ship, sang songs, danced jigs and met a talking parrot. What a tiptop, shipshape day we had - Arghhhh let’s do it again me hearties!
