National Under 8s week was celebrated in Prep to Year 2 at Hillcrest Christian College last Tuesday 23 May 2017. Our youngest students did this in style by celebrating with a Medieval Castle Day. Students dressed up as kings, queens, princes, princesses, knights, and maidens. Our very own Castle was dressed smartly with flags for the day too!
Activities in classrooms were all medieval themed for the day. The students had a big picnic on the oval, followed by medieval games on the oval, and then we had outdoor GIG on the steps of the Castle. Our Preps to Year 2s had a wonderful day, supported by staff, Year 6 student leaders, and Year 12 students leaders – who came dressed up as well.
