Hillcrest's budding Year 5-6 musicians enjoyed the chance to fine tune their musical talents at the Band and Strings Retreat, held at the College on Monday, 31 July. The Retreat was a valuable day for students to work closely with their regular and visiting tutors on their repertoire for the upcoming Gold Coast Eisteddfod.
The budding musicians enjoyed a day of focused sectional and whole group rehearsals, and all performers gave a wonderful concert for Hillcrest students and teachers to conclude the Retreat. The day was a huge success, and our Band and String Orchestras are now looking forward to showcasing their talents with a great performance at the Gold Coast Eisteddfod.
