As we counted down to the most important time of the year as Christ-followers, our College had a very eventful week with Easter celebrations across all year levels...
Kindy kicked off the festivities with their Kindy Easter Concert on Friday, 29 March, including an Easter Hat Parade, which saw our very cute little learners adorn their works of art in the presence of family and friends.
On Monday, 1 April, our special JLC Hilly Kids Easter Service raised the roof in true Hilly Kids-style with high volume, high energy praise and worship to our King, followed by a more sombre time of reflection, as we shared about the important sacrifice Jesus Christ has paid for all of us on the cross. Wednesday was a day not to be missed, as the Prep – Year 2 students enjoyed their highly-anticipated JLC Easter Hat Parade as part of their Easter Service. There were hats in all styles, shapes, sizes and colours, as our junior students (with a little help from parents) used their imaginations to show off their creativity on their wearable Easter-inspired masterpieces.

To finish the wonderful week, our senior students enjoyed their SLC Easter Service at Reedy Creek Baptist Church on Thursday, 4 April, taking the time to remember what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us, and the hope we can hold onto as an anchor for our souls.
