On Monday, 29 April, our Year 10 Legal Studies class had an exciting visit to the Queensland Supreme Court in Brisbane. During their trip, students had the opportunity to observe some real-world criminal trials in action. Below are some highlights as recounted by the students -
It was a very different experience from what I expected ... being able to sit in the court and be so close to the accused and hearing the charges was confronting and made it real.Laura Pierce
