Year 4 had their first enrichment presentations on Friday. Although it doesn't have to be a class presentation, lost of them wanted to share what they had done with the class. We had driftwood science presentations, holiday photos, jokes, poems, lego building, posters and meerkat presentations. A lot of other children in the year level sharing what they got up to that week for enrichment.
Year 4 have been having fun exploring some different history sources this week to find out what it was like living in England in the 1780s. The students built on their team work and communication skills as they shared their thoughts about the laws, culture and society at the time comparing the information in these sources to their lives today.
We have also been learning some reading strategies to help us explore books more effectively. We love acting things out in Year 4. Check us out demonstrating the strategies we have learned.
