2019 JLC Cross Country Carnival

The 2019 JLC Cross Country Carnival was held on Wednesday, 1 May, on the Hillcrest Oval and was a fantastic celebration of athletic achievement and Hillcrest's House culture. We commend all students for pushing themselves to their physical limits to achieve personal success and House points.

Along with the amazing display of House spirit and Carnival atmosphere, enhanced by the beat of our talented Hillcrest Drumline students, was the commitment of our wider College community who came together to support this exciting event. Our Kindy - Year 2 students all put their best feet forward to participate in the fun run, followed by our more competitive Years 3 - 6 races.

Congratulations to all of our Age Champions from this event; to Carmichael, for receiving the House Spirit Award, and  to Taylor House - our House Champions for the Carnival!

Special thanks to the Hillcrest staff who were involved in preparing for this event, and for their hard work in ensuring the Carnival ran smoothly. We also thank the parents and carers who came to support the students, and for consistently contributing to our amazing Hillcrest community.
