Every year Hillcrest's participates in Book Week to foster a love of books and reading, as part of the nationwide Book Week campaign, run by the Children's Book Council of Australia. Last week our JLC students (and staff) enjoyed a range of Book Week festivities, including our highly-anticipated costume parades.
We were blown away again this year by the efforts of our families in producing such a dazzling array of creative costumes, and we thank parents for the time and energy they put in to the students' wearable works of art.
