Our Term 2 JLC Parent Partners' night was held on Thursday, 16 May, in our Tech Central learning space, and focused on demonstrating ‘What technology is my child using at school?’ In true Hillcrest style, parents engaged in active, hands-on learning during this session, exploring various ed-tech tools such as Ozobots, Spheros and digital portfolios. More importantly, Peta Jorgensen (P-12 Digital Learning Coordinator) and Michael Ha (Director of Digital Innovation) explained the academic rigour and essential skills that our students are developing as they become digitally literate, through similar experiences.
