What fun we had on our Preppies' Christmas Picnic Day! Everyone dressed in their festive gear - lots of red hats and antlers, and we started our exciting day by joining the Year 1 students for their devotions. We asked them questions about what Year 1 is like, and looked around the Year 1 classrooms. We had some festive fun making reindeer drinking cups and Christmas treats to serve at our picnic. Between our four classes we made yummy Christmas biscuits and balls, chocolate crackles, and marshmallow snowmen.
We gathered on the deck to sing Christmas carols with Mrs Shey, and listen to some funny Christmas jokes, then we enjoyed all the different Christmas food everyone had brought to share. To finish off our wonderful day, we all watched a Christmas movie in the theatre. What a special way to celebrate the end of school and the Christmas season!
