Our three SLC Netball Teams competed at the Gold Coast Secondary Schools Indoor Netball Tournament from Thursday, 30 - Friday, 31 May, 2019. After two days of intense competition, our Open team and U13s came 3rd overall in their age groups. Even though our U15s didn’t place, their never-give-up attitude and commitment was outstanding.
These results were an amazing achievement, as it was many of the netballers' first time playing indoor netball, which is a much faster-paced game with no outs and dealing with the net.
Our students showed excellent sportsmanship on and off the court, and their support for each other was amazing to watch and is an excellent reflection on the Hillcrest Knight's culture.
