On Monday, July 22, we held our inaugural SLC Eisteddfod Showcase Concert in the Hillcrest Theatre. Ten of our SLC Ensembles including bands, strings groups and choirs performed for parents and friends with a variety of repertoire extending across many styles and genres being performed. This was a wonderful opportunity for our students in preparation for the upcoming Gold Coast Eisteddfod which will commence in Week 4, and demonstrated the depth of musical talent our students have across our Performing Arts department at Hillcrest.
