On Thursday 2 November, the Senior Learning Community and Year 6 students travelled to the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre at Southport for their swimming carnival. The weather was spectacular and so too was the facility, which will be the venue for next year’s Commonwealth Games. The day saw amazing competition, community and a final sporting event for our Year 12 students. Congratulations to Taylor house for taking out the Champion House trophy, and Hugo Vitiello (Year 8) for taking out the ‘Chappy Challenge’, earning himself the title of fastest swimmer at Hillcrest. A big thank you to all students, parents and staff for making the day a success.
