Last week was a fantastic experience for some of our SLC Chess students who took part in a Gold Coast competition hosted by Gardiner Chess. Students competed in seven matches throughout the day, with outstanding success. Byron Morris led the way, placing first in the competition against some exceptionally skilful opponents. Other performances of merit included Taite Lennox, Jerrin Kurian and Joshua Bryant.
