Kalani Salussolia (from 3EA) is a grey-belt Jiu Jitsu student who is passionate in what he does. On Sunday 12 March 2017 he went to the BJJ Australia Open in Byron Bay and after winning three out of three fights, he brought home his 6th Gold medal! Wow! He has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Southside Burleigh Heads for four years, since he was four years old. His coaches have two black belts, Vicente Cavalcanti and Marcelo Salussolia (his proud dad!). It is amazing to watch his improvement, determination, discipline and focus throughout these years. Well done Kalani!
