Our Layers of Learning Framework is a set of broad guidelines relating to quality teacher practices and represents the way we teach at Hillcrest Christian College. The framework reflects our College cornerstones and our commitment to a consistent and effective teaching approach so that all students have the best opportunity to learn and reach their full potential.

It has been exciting to see our students benefitting from the newly open Castle and Year 6 Learning Precinct. Amazing Facilities which aim to promote quality education for now and beyond. However a learning centred environment is not just the physical. The environment also encompasses the intellectual, emotional, relational and spiritual dimensions of learning. Whether a student feels safe or accepted in the environment has significant impact on their learning.

At Hillcrest, our community commitment, SAJO, is a commitment that all staff and students make toward each other and works to ensure the environment we make at Hillcrest, as a community, is a positive and supportive one. SAJO Stands for:
