This term, the Year 8 New Horizons class have been busy at work building prototype bottle rockets. After refining their designs through the shaping and taping of fins it was time to launch. Powered by water, pressure and hard work some of the rockets were able to fly heights of over 80m!
Although there was a few failed attempts, it wasn’t long before our rockets were reaching the stars. The students look forward to sharing their projects with the community at the New Horizons Launch Night on Monday 27th March at 5:45pm.
