On Monday, 24 February 2020, our senior student leaders met with Liberal National Party Member for Mudgeeraba, Ms Ros Bates MP. The informative discussion gave our students a deeper insight into politics, career pathways and some of the challenges of being a strong leader. Our student leaders talked about their potential career pathways and asked questions about politics and how they can support their local community.
Ms Bates also presented the College with a $500,000 cheque on behalf of the Block Grant Authority which will be contributed towards Hillcrest's Years 7 - 8 Precinct. Construction of the Precinct is due to commence toward the end of Term 1, and scheduled for completion in Term 3, 2020.
Ms Bates also showed her support toward our community by offering her Office as a resource for any questions or information.
