Year 8 student, Tyler De Snoo participated at the 2014 AFA National Schools Futsal Championships in Bendigo, Victoria from 29 September to 2 October.
Tyler's team played great futsal to win 8 of their 9 group matches and finish first in the group stage. The team proceeded to the finals however were knocked out in their semi final.
The coach said that Tyler was a valuable member of the team, both on and off the court.
"Each team member made a great effort during training and the competition and worked well together", he said. "Tyler showed great sportsmanship and was an outstanding representative of his school and family".
Tyler has also received an invitation to tour Barcelona on the Australian U13 Boy's Futsal Team.
