Year One - Teddy Bear Hospital

Our Year One students visited a special Teddy Bear Hospital kindly presented by trainee doctors from the Griffith School of Medicine on Monday 2 March. Everyone brought along their special teddies to hear about the many ways we can keep ourselves safe and healthy. We loved playing at the exercise station where the doctors reminded us that exercise is fun!

The experience helps students understand the roles medical staff have in our community and how a hospital visit doesn't have to be scary. The doctors also showed us how to dial 000 in emergencies.

The Teddy Bears Hospital was a great way for us to remember all the things we have been learning in our Health lessons this term.
